Fiona O'Byrne is an Australian artist based in inner Melbourne, who paints mostly portraits and still life’s, using her immediate domestic environment for inspiration. Working in oil on linen, she creates richly textured tonal pieces marked by sparse, carefully arranged compositions in an effort to evoke a feeling of quiet simplicity and calm.
