As My Mind Strays

 

There is a disorder in my everyday life at this moment .

There is a disorder in the larger world.

Uncertain and scary. 

The chaos, betrayal , lack of integrity plays havoc in my world order .. the Cat Birds songs  , are present and shrill ,fruit is stolen from my bowls  and  I am glad.

This work  ..  As My  Mind Strays , is a gathering of comforts , signatures of past and present .

aesthetic choices.. the  crowns and creatures , gifts bestowed , come closer to restore calm and kindness to disorder.

The importance of love, joy , kindness , compassion, connection and community .

A small comfort to dispel despair , for strength and love to be found.. hands held , warm embrace and  the greetings of the  day.
